Any service work under this guarantee will be undertaken by Bosch’s own customer service organisation - BSH Appliance Care.

The level of service offered by BSH Appliance Care is of such an excellent standard, they have been awarded Domestic and General’s TEQ (Total Excellence and Quality) Award 2003.

In a comprehensive after sales service customer survey carried out by D&G, one of the UK’s largest insurance companies specialising in domestic repairs, BSH Appliance Care came out on top.




Bosch Guarantee Conditions:

We Bosch undertake to that if within 12 months of the date of purchase (or 24 months, if the purchase is registered) his Bosch appliance or any part thereof is proved to be defective by reason only of faulty workmanship or materials, we will at our discretion repair or replace the same FREE OF ANY CHARGE for labour, materials or carriage, on condition that:

  • The appliance has been correctly installed and used only on the electricity or gas supply stated on the rating plate.
  • The appliance has been used for normal domestic purposes only, and in accordance with the manufacturer’s operating and maintenance instructions.
  • The appliance has not been serviced, maintained, repaired, taken apart or tampered with by any person not authorized by us.
  • All service work under this guarantee must be undertaken by BSH Appliance Care, the Bosch Service Company or its authorized agents.
  • Any appliance or defective part replaced shall become the Company’s property.
  • This guarantee is in addition to your statutory and other legal rights.
  • Service calls are made between 8.30am and 5.30pm Monday - Saturday.
Exclusions:
This guarantee does not cover:
  • Damage resulting from transportation, improper use or neglect, the replacement of any light bulbs or removable parts of glass and plastic.
  • Costs incurred for calls to put right an appliance, which is improperly installed, or calls to appliances outside the United Kingdom, or the Republic of Ireland.
  • Products of Bosch manufacture which are not marketed by Bosch.
  • EC Countries - the standard guarantee is applicable but is subject to the owner’s responsibility and cost, to ensure the appliances meets the standards set by the country to which the product is taken.

What does the insurance plan protect?

  • Full Cost of Parts and Labour. For a further 3 years after your 2 year manufacturer’s guarantee expires. (Please remember to return the appliance guarantee registration card to claim the second year’s manufacturer’s guarantee FREE).
  • Accidental Damage Protection. From receipt of your payment.
  • No Repair Bills to Pay. In most cases repairers are paid directly.
  • New-for-old protection - for life. If we cant fix your product, we’ll give you a brand new replacement. As long as you continue protection, you wont have to buy a new one again.
  • Repairs by the Experts. BSH Appliance Care, the official Bosch service organization or its authorized agents.
  • 24 Hour Call Centre. Domestic and General are available every day of the year including Christmas Day.
  • Insurance Backed. The plan is underwritten so you will always be protected.
  • Ease of Payment. You can pay by direct debit, credit card/debit card, cheque or postal order.
  • Lifetime renewal. Domestic and General will normally continue to offer you a renewal for the lifetime of your appliance.
