BOSCH PRODUCTS FOR 2007
DATE ISSUED : 27.06.2007
VACUUM CLEANERS Bosch began the new season by revealing news that travelled round the world: that over the course of a lifetime a vacuum cleaner can take its handler on a walk round the house equivalent to a trip to New York - and back again! The fun survey - though perhaps not quite so much fun for the people doing the vacuuming - appeared in most of the British national newspapers, many regional newspapers and magazines and was picked up around the world. Though so far no one has offered to walk that far with a vacuum cleaner to see how long it might take in one go! Bosch has also undertaken research to find out who actually does the household chores - and what they would rather be doing.
The answers have been intriguing, fun and in some cases a bit worrying for the man of the house. We will be revealing the results over the next few months. All our research has been designed to show that anything we as manufacturers can do to reduce the burden of household chores is a good thing. By including features on our machines that eliminate the need to do an extra cleaning step, or which do the work of several chores, we reduce the amount of time a household spends on things it would rather not be doing, in favour of things it would! Bosch has a formidable reputation for its bagged cylinder cleaners and last year entered the bagless market with the most efficient and innovative devices of their kind - the BX3 vacuum cleaners.
This season, Bosch introduces the BX3 Advanced bagless vacuum cleaners, building on the success of the originals. With their sleek new look, new colours and advanced, simpler emptying system, the new models use Bosch's unique double-stream technology to provide the power and efficiency expected of a Bosch vacuum cleaner. This season also sees the introduction of three advanced, specialist bagged vacuum cleaner models - the BSG7 series, with unique features and the new Airsafe system, which eliminates air leaks within the machine for maximum suction and power.
The top of the range, new-generation BSG7 Pro-Hygienic offers an extra level of hygiene incorporating not only heavyweight HEPA air filtration for allergy sufferers - including a new indicator that warns when the filter needs replacing - but also a floor tool that can vacuum and wet-wipe hard floors at the same time! Also in the range is the Formula Hygienixx, a perfect choice for anyone looking for a vacuum cleaner with its powerful motor and general cleaning abilities. And anyone looking for ultimate performance to tackle the hardest jobs and combat odours such as pet smells or smoke can select the Pro-Pets - the Arnold Schwarzenegger of the BSG7 series - with its powerful 2000W motor, carbon filter to absorb odours and special air-powered turbo-brush for carpets.
IRONS Bosch experience as a maker of a complete range of laundry products from washers to irons gives us unique in - sights into the de mands of all kinds of users. And Bosch's research and innovation offers power and features that offer a major lead over more expensive rivals. The introduction of two new irons this season, the Sensixx Protect and the ultra-modern Sensixx B5 consolidates Bosch's superb range of Sen sixx Solutions irons, all of which offer not only brilliant general ironing with class leading features, but also additional features for particular users and specialist tasks. Added to these traditional irons is a new Steam Station, the sensational TDS25 Professional.
The superb new B5 automatic (TDA6662GB) stands out not only because of its sensational looks, berry-and-white colour and pressurised steam output, but because it is the only iron on the market with automatic temperature control, offering peace of mind when ironing any fabric. The new Protect (TDA 8339GB) is the only iron to include an anti-shine sole plate cover, to protect dark and delicate fabrics while delivering maximum steam. And the brilliant new TDS25 Pro steam station is a complete upgrade to the already highly-acclaimed Steam Station, now offering not only a super-fast, two-minute warm up but also a large, refillable water tank to allow continuous ironing. BREAKFAST APPLIANCES Bosch's eye-catching Private Collection range of kettle, toaster and coffee maker goes chic and extra stylish this season with a new black colourway to add sophistication to any kitchen setting. The range is also available in fine stainless steel and smart white: powerful, easy to use and a complement to any kitchen design.
